About Just 7 Steps

A Family’s Path to Progress

Hi I’m Robert Schramm. I started my career as a Special Education Teacher and in 2003 I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

I have worked with thousands of children – some of whom were labeled with ADHD, learning disabilities, ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) autism, and many receiving mental health treatment for anxiety, not wanting to go or not going to school, and trouble with friendships and family relationships.

So many of the families I work with feel tired of not knowing how to get their child to listen, worried that their child isn’t making progress, anxious about what their child’s future holds, and really frustrated that nothing seems to be working.

I have focused my career on understanding the motivational aspects involved in helping parents overcome challenging behavior to raise capable and confident adults. I even published two books about this!

So whether you’re the parent of a younger school-age child just starting on your journey or you’re the parent of a teen who feels like you’ve tried everything already, I have guided many families just like yours.

I am here to be your guide to a less stressful, more connected relationship with your child who is happier and making real progress in all areas of their life.

Let’s do this together,
Robert 😊
